I've made about five WITL albums over the years and treasure them. I don't participate every year - happy to leave a year or two between them - but I love what I have. I work in the city Monday to Wednesday so I had to wait until Thursday to actually work on my pages. Once I have my first day done, the rest is easy. I am a fan of repetition and having a system. After many years of digital December Daily (and digital scrapbooking in general), I'm in the mood for getting my hands dirty with some actual paper, scissors and glue. my Christmas traditions along with the tree and the baking. I want to keep this year's project really simple - a photo and a journal card or patterned paper for at their place, so this will be a great year to do something different and pared-down with my book too

The first new templates went into the shop yesterday. The Every Day Monthly Template Set is what I will be using this year for the little bits of life - available This template has three pages to cover each month. I also have the Ranked24 two-page template for compiling end of year lists - various topics are included in the template, including books, movies, moments.

In my 'real' life I struggle with people-pleasing and perfectionism. Always have. Reaching my 40's has done a lot to curb that - you just start to feel like you earned the right to be If you want to take a break from Project Life this year, you can. If you want to make three albums worth of layouts this year, awesome. Half a year documented is fantastic. If you love arty pages but just can't pull it off (me!)
