  • December Daily Wrap-Up - Days 21-26

    I decided to finish up on the 26th - sometimes I've done the whole of December but this year I was done I like that I did a deeper dive in my journaling this year but I also had days where I wished I could The journal card is last year's from Kelly Purkey. The left page is one of my 4x8 templates and the All is Calm stamp on the right is Paislee Press. The template and star garland are mine, Twas the Night word art by Paislee Press. Day 25.

  • December Daily 2022 - Weeks Three + Four = Done

    Before I move into new year stff, I wanted to share a final post with the rest of my December Daily pages Day 16 documents the last day of school for the year and the start of their summer holidays. I also used digital numbers from last years' December Daily kit on the photo. Day 21 was my last day at work in the city, so I used a photo of the big tree in Martin Place. The paper is from one of this years' December Daily 10x8 paper packs - I love it.

    I'm sticking to my easy formula and getting my pages done most days. Every year I watch the Christmas episodes that they bundle together and every year that leads to a rewatch I used one of my 4x8 templates for the journaling page (HERE) and made the red card on the left with the stars are from last year's Paislee Press Mini Kit (recoloured). There is always next year.

  • My 2017 Project

    After so many years doing Project Life (see my thoughts on that), I was ready for something different this year. I have some simple templates I use over and over with lots of white space and I have kept the fonts consistent I haven't abandoned my family's stories either - I am making a lot of 6x8 pages that tell those.     into page protectors and then finally I made a Blurb book using Cathy Zielske's digital templates in As an aside, I actually stalled around August that last year but I was able to spend my January work break finishing up in just a few days because a) it rained a lot that week b) Cathy's templates were , so I played around with some simple, graphic templates for a year long project that would change things I loved the process and the end result when I finally got the book in my hands in January this year.

    I'm just enjoying this easy, no fuss approach this year and not having to find a daily story is freeing So, on to my week two pages.. for the year.
