still summer

Some very hot days here while my northern hemisphere friends have been battling snow storms. Still enjoying summer right now but the relenentless heat and stuck-inside-with-aircon days are starting to wear thin.

Other notables for January:

• I finally got Wordle-in-1 (BLAST). I thought it would never happen. Keep your dreams small!

• Still Pinning kitchens non-stop and we've drawn up plans. It's a start.

• School went back this week and university classes start again next week. Routine is always good around here. Elijah is in Year 11 - how?

• Brett is taking Monday off to watch the Superbowl (Superbowl Monday doesn't have the same ring does it). I think I'm going to go with him to the pub even though I don't really follow (Brett watches all year - his team is San Francisco). I'm just going for the American-style snacks they will have.

I had a few people message me "Hey, where has your shop gone?" Links to the new shop and product releases are at shannanpages.com but I think some people might have needed to do a refresh when they went to my website. Sorry for any confusion.

The release calendar at Hey Scrapper means I will have new things available the first and third Fridays of the month (US time) - 20% off on release. The second and fourth Fridays are for the featured product sale where select older products will be available at 30% off. I'll always update the shannanpages.com website so everyone knows what's happening (as well as instagram).

It's taken a while to get most of my back-catalogue repackaged and available. Today I have some of my favourite single-page templates bundled in three's. If you go to the product pages, I have listed which templates are included in the sets so people who have purchased templates from me previously can make sure they aren't buying stuff they already have (I've kept the template names the same). These are on sale this weeked so it's a good deal anyway.

I've rewatched Heated Rivalry so many times and my algorithm knows it (thankfully). My friend in LA saw Connor Storrie walking in the street and took a sneaky photo and sent it to me. I was undone.

The whole family is now into the Buffy rewatch - we just finished Season Three. Laughing that Buffy and Willow are going to live on campus at UC Sunnydale in Season 4 because it would be 'too far to drive home at night'. How big is this town?

We are also watching Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (which we just call Dunk & Egg). So good, so funny but so short.
