  • My Year in Food - A New Scrapbook Project

I started sketching out some simple template ideas when I remembered I'd already made a template that would work well for this - my abandoned Project Life template. My plan is to try and do a digital spread every week to be printed as an 8x10 photobook. I'm not going to note down every single thing we ate in a week, but I'd like to document the main things I'm starting this week - I don't believe year-long projects have to start in January or even on the first

  • December Daily - Part Two

Hey friends - today I'm sharing how my 4x5 December Daily is shaping up after week two. So, on to my week two pages.. It was a good but stressful week so I marked that with this cool Push Print card. I also made a cover for my book this week. I wanted something very simple and came up with this. So that's week two. Thanks for reading.

  • A Digital Planner?

People are taking digital templates of planner pages, loading them into an app like Goodnotes on their very simple, uncluttered paper diary to manage my life but having a little embellished record of our week I wouldn't be using this project to plan my week - I'd work on the spreads at the end of the week as

  • Pencilling in Plans for 2022

As is a running theme around here, I am a few weeks late to the new year. So today I'm playing some records (Andy Williams Sings the Movie Hits), sitting at my desk and thinking I want to make projects for me and products for my shop (especially templates) a priority.

  • December Daily - Part One

I've been happily working on my little handmade 4x5 December Daily album this week. So that's a week in the book. It has been fun so far to work on this little album.

  • Setting up Project Life 2019 (no, really this time)

I've made various test templates but have just decided to stick with a tried and true grid which mirrors I created an 8x10 grid template in Photoshop Elements (PSE) then expanded it to 16x10 so I can work on each week #lazy). I always find it much easier to make a plan and work on templates once the year has started and I have book (this is the set I used this week and this for journaling).

  • Mid-Year Review & Taking Stock

TEMPLATES & PAGE FORMULAS All of my current projects (except for my regular layouts) use a basic blue-print or template which makes it a lot easier to keep up with. For my 100 Songs Project, I just type in a few lines on the existing template (by Cathy Zielske) add I've averaged out about 20-30 5x8 pages per month so far, some are single and some are double spreads I try not to let a week go by where nothing happens with these.
